How to factory reset Samsung tablet from the settings

Go to settings then choose General Management then click reset.

You will get some options to choose from such as reset network settings and reset accessibility settings. This allows you to reset only certain sections on your tablet and not others. I recommend starting with a reset settings option and checking whether your problem is fixed.

If not, there is also a Factory data reset that will wipe all your data from the tablet. If you have files you need on the tablet, I would advise backing up somewhere else before choosing this option.

If you can not access your settings option on your tablet, there is another way to factory reset your tablet.

Click on the lock button on the side of the tablet and the lower volume button simultaneously until your tablet turns off.

After that click on the volume up button and lock key until a screen menu pops up. This is the recovery mode. To scroll up and down, use the up and down volume keys to navigate. Once you get to the factory reset option click the power button in the top right corner.

Choose Factory reset and the tablet will reset itself. Remember this will wipe all the data on the tablet so make sure you back up your files first. After that choose reboot system now.
